Make Savoiardi for Tiramisu Lovers #homemade
Quick homemade savoiardi cookies — soft, sweet, and perfect for slow mornings.
So cozy and easy to make!
Enjoy with coffee or use for tiramisu 🤎
ingredients:
3 eggs
75 g sugar
10 g vanilla sugar
zest of 0.5 lemon
100 g flour
2 tbsp cornstarch
pinch of salt
30 g powdered sugar
Separate the yolks and whites of 3 eggs. Beat the whites with a mixer until stiff peaks form for 5 minutes. Then gradually add 75 g of sugar to the whites, continuing to beat. The mixture should become thick and shiny.
Add 10 g of vanilla sugar and the zest of half a lemon to the yolks. Mix with a fork.
Add the yolk mixture to the egg whites and mix gently.
Next, add 100 g of sifted flour, 2 tbsp. of cornstarch and a pinch of salt. Using a silicone spatula, carefully mix the dough.
Place the dough in a pastry bag fitted with a round nozzle up to 1.5 cm in diameter. Pipe the cookies onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, about 10 cm long. Leave space between the cookies.
Sprinkle the cookies with 15 g of powdered sugar and let stand for a couple of minutes. Then sprinkle another 15 g of powdered sugar on top and bake for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees in a preheated oven using the "top/bottom" mode.
Let the finished cookies rest for 5 minutes. Then remove them from the parchment, transfer them to a wire rack, and let them cool completely. Enjoy!
