Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has announced that the country is "moving to war-fighting readiness" as he unveiled the details of the Strategic Defence Review.

He pledged that the army would be "10 times more lethal by 2035".

But he refused to say when defence spending would reach 3% of GDP.
