Mahogany Lidded Box Turning - Woodturning DIY

In this woodworking - woodturning project I turn a beautiful mahogany lidded box from some leftover scraps using my nova galaxy dvr. I used colored sand and CA glue to dress up the lid and added an ash handle to the top of the box. the finish I used for the lidded box was a simple paste wax that I applied, let dry for 15 min and wiped off. Guys and gal's this was an extremely fun build with a beautiful result. Hope you enjoy this turning project.

This project had its challenges with the end grain, sizing the lid, and handle as well as how and what to do with my lathes chuck.
