Bassist John Clayton on Paul McCartney
In this segment of an interview with John Clayton during the 2013 Jazz Cruise, the bassist talks about working with Paul McCartney on the former Beatle's "Kisses on the Bottom" album. During the Jazz Cruise, John performed with the Clayton Brothers, as well as in a trio with his son Gerald Clayton on piano and Jeff Hamilton on drums. Hamilton was also in that recording session with McCartney. Interview by Irene Lee. Video production by Lee Mergner.
