Like vs Would Like - Two minute Thursdays #13
In this episode I talk about the difference between using “like” as an opinion, and “would like to” as a desire or want. These two uses sometimes confuse students regarding whether they should use the present participle ING form of the verb after like (I like swimming), or the infinitive for TO (I’d like to swim). Here you find examples and explanations as to why they are different in meaning and therefore in usage. Enjoy!
