#12 Reclaiming a Tile for a Dutch Pour

In this video I will be testing some different paint bases. My Artist Loft flow acrylic white dated 2021 is causing my Dutch Pours to have too much white space and lots of white cells. I will also be cleaning off a 12”x 24” tile to be reused. The bases I will be testing are:

Walmart Premium Titanium White mixed with floetrol and water
Amsterdam Titanium White mixed with water
Amsterdam Titanium White. Iced with floetrol and water
Artist Loft flow acrylic white mixed with water
And the tile already completed is Artist Loft flow acrylic with floetrol and water.

I will finish the video with a Dutch Pour using Artist loft flow acrylic 2021 mixed with floetrol and water but changing the colors to see if the Winsor & Newton Blue is the problem. (Spoiler alert it’s not the problem) After ending the video I painted several more coaster with the Artist Loft, floetrol, water mix and several different paint combinations. I got the same result of too much white and too many cells with every color combination. I then had to soak and clean 12 coasters.

The Blue, Brown and Pink tile that I paint in this video will be resined. I decided I really like the combination of colors and it did not cell up too badly. I don’t know why it didn’t cell up but I’ll take it. Thanks for watching. Please like, share and subscribe.
