We continue our walks!
There were two synagogues in Baram. One of them, the Great Synagogue, built of large beautiful hewn stones, is very similar to the temple found in the nearby ancient Canaanite village of Kedesh, and it is also similar to the White Synagogue in Kfar Nachum.
Baram National Park also contains the ruins of the Maronite village of Birim. The spiritual center of the members of the Maronite community is also located here.
