Pacific Rim - Clip: Newton's Great Idea (HD)

Jaeger pilot Herc Hansen and Marshall Stacker Pentecost visit scientists Newton Geiszler and Hermann Gottlieb, who present their theories about the Kaijuu threat. Hermann theorizes that the amount of Kaijuus coming through the portal which connect the alien world to Earth will increase rapidly over time, to a point where there could be one Kaijuu coming out of the portal every four minutes. Newton believes that the Kaijuus are all clones, and are connected in some way, and wants to use the same technology used for Jaeger pilots to share a neural bridge to tap into a Kaijuu brain in his collection, but his idea is deemed impossible and stupid, and Gottlieb's idea is accepted instead.
