Newcleus - Jam On It (The Definitive version)

“Jam On It” was the 9th rap song ever to appear on Billboard’s Hot 100. The single peaked at #56 on the Billboard Hot 100 in July of 1984. It also reached #89 in the UK earlier that year.
The 12” single version differs from the album version by featuring a full verse by Chilly B and some additional bars from Cozmo D. The track used for the video is shorter than either version but includes bars from both rappers. While this version wasn’t included on the earlier album releases, it was added on re-releases in 2006 & 2012. – Genius Annotation.
