Email Undo Option- Feature Allows Users to Take Back Sent Emails
VICTORIA - Most people have sent an email they instantly regret sending. You know, the ones that leave your stomach flipping, and you checking your sent items to see if you actually did the unimaginable.
Google is testing a new feature that will let Gmail subscribers retract an email within thirty seconds of sending it. In the past, emailers were given just five seconds to right their wrongs. Technology experts say the undo button is a feature we could see with more and more email providers in the future. But we all know computers aren't always that reliable, so you may be forced to undo those mistakes the old fashioned way; by apologizing all by yourself, in person.
