India orders immediate exit of Pakistani nationals || Visa crackdown begins post Pahalgam attack

Starting today, the Indian government has begun strict enforcement of visa cancellations for Pakistani nationals, especially those on medical and SAARC visas, following the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

Under the latest directive by the Ministry of Home Affairs, all Pakistani citizens in India must return immediately or face serious legal consequences. The Attari border has been temporarily closed, and immigration enforcement has begun nationwide. Anyone violating the directive faces penalties under the Foreigners Act, 2025—up to 3 years in prison or a ₹3 lakh fine.
