DIY Fake Rock Background for Reptile Enclosure

In this video I take you step by step through the creation of a fake rock back ground for reptile enclosures using expanding foam, tile grout and pond sealer. I have built many backgrounds using this process, its not to say its the only way or the absolute right way but I have found it to be durable and safe for my reptiles as well as providing my pets with an enriching and active environment for them to explore. You Will Need:
A glass or wooden enclosure
Expanding foam
Foam board or polystyrene sheet if you choose
Liquid Nails or strong glue equivalent
Clear non toxic pond sealant
Tile Grout - colour of your choosing
Acrylic Paint
Sharp Knife for foam carving
Paint brush for grouting
Paint brush for acrylic painting
Paint scraper
Caulking gun for glue
Sand paper for sanding grout (optional)
Reptile safe disinfectant such as F10
