Christie Aide Pulls Mic from Hostile Town Hall Questioner

Gov. Chris Christie's town hall appearance in Middletown last week was supposed to be on safe ground. It turns out it was really shaky ground.

Buffeted by controversy over George Washington Bridge access lane closures in September that had some roots in his office, Christie chose a Republican town in Republican-leaning Monmouth County for his first town hall since before the November election.

But with parts of the Bayshore still in ruins following superstorm Sandy in October 2012, frustrations in that normally friendly territory run high. Those looking for some mention of the bridge scandal didn't understand where they were and the bureaucratic hell these citizens are caught in.
