A deserter, a thief and... Researching a German WWII identification tag into the heart of darkness

After a metal detectorist discovers a World War II era German identification tag belonging to a missing soldier near St Nazaire, France, we are led through the various steps of the investigation that reveal the true and terribly dark fate of the soldier.
