Homemade Electronic Keyboard-- New and Improved

I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I like to continue working on projects long after I actually get the thing working as there is always some sort of problem I want to fix or new feature I want to add, until the project gets my stamp of approval and retires to my shelf. Then, after half a year, I come back to it, see that something is broken, try to fix it, and put it back on the shelf. The circle of life is complete.
