Skateboarder Margie Didal: “do what you love” 🇵🇭 I By Her Rules

Margie first encountered skateboarding while helping her mother sell street food to make ends meet. Now she supports her family as one of the top skateboarders in Asia. Being a skater, she is a bit of a rebel in Filipina culture, but she is the sport sensation of the country and a strong chance of a medal at Tokyo 2020. She is paving the way for the next generation of women in skateboarding.

Five female athletes who are defying the perception of what a woman is supposed to be doing in her society, her sport or her community and changing the course of their lives as well as the world around them as they live By Her Rules.
