Quick Drilling Tip for Hybrid Pen Blanks

Quick tip for drilling hybrid pen blanks. I definitely recommend using the Brad point bits over standard twist bits to keep the bit from wandering and creating an oversized hole. Just wanted to share in case you didn’t know what Brad point bits can do.

I usually use twist bits on full resin blanks since there’s no grain and the hardness/density of the material doesn’t change throughout the blank. Any time there are highly different densities or hardnesses of materials though, I pull out the brad points. Hope that helps out 😀
