Vector Potential. EM -- 402

Vector potential is a useful way to describe magnetic fields. Just as we express the electric field using a scalar potential, we can express the magnetic field as the curl of a vector field, called the vector potential. This formulation automatically satisfies one of Maxwell’s equations and often makes solving problems much simpler, especially in systems with symmetry.
