The report reccomends federal parliament grows by up to 49 extra MPs to ensure the system delivers for every Australian. It would take the number of members in the House of Representatives from 151 to 200. PLUS Australians have revealed that they feel like they are currently worse off compared to 2 years ago. A latest Newspoll survey found, 50 per cent of people say they are now in a worse financial position than they were in, in 2021. Only 16 per cent of people beleive they are now better off. AND There are fresh calls for King Charles to be ditched as the face of our coins. Federal MP Bob Katter is pushing for the change and instead wants an Indigenous warrior or army veteranto feature on our currency.
