In 1872, Shiseido was started as a pharmacy in Ginza, Tokyo by Arinobu Fukuhara, a pharmacist in the Japanese Navy. We were the first Japanese business to create high-quality, advanced, and authentic beauty products for the modern era. In the 150 years since, the family business transformed into a global corporation that is beloved across the world.

This series will give a never-before-seen look behind the brand and our products, history, and most importantly, answer the question: What is J-Beauty, and why is it important?
