Vexilar Ice Fishing (White Perch, Crappie, & Blue Gill) // Checking Ice thickness on Winnepesaukee

Lake Winnipesaukee doesn't have enough ice yet (beginning of January), at least not in Wolfeboro bay, for ice fishing. But I wanted to take the opportunity to show you my Vexilar Ice-Ducer (Flasher), with footage from a couple years ago with my old fishing buddy Wayne. That year, Wayne and I had a good first day out on the ice. We both have Vexilar flashers and it has revolutionized ice fishing. They do come at a cost but they are well worth it. Those who have them wouldn't go fishing without them. We are in that group. In this video, we worked a body of water for a couple of hours and found a school of white perch, not giants but good eating size. The limit in NH is 25 total spine fish a day.
