Experiences In 360° Virtual Reality: A Window to Autobiographical Memory

In a study by the University of Osnabrück, participants were presented with a 360° video with VR headset or a 2D video of a motorcycle ride. This was followed by a memory test 48 hours later. The results showed that the VR group performed twice as well as the video group in the memory test.
