Doctor Who Series One Remastered Opening and Closing Themes

I've noticed recently that there isn't actually a copy of the Series One Opening Theme on YouTube (yes, it is different from the one used in Series Two and Three)! So I've rectified it with this remastered version - it's pulled straight from the episode audio, so it's as high quality as you're going to find. As an added bonus, I've done the same with the Series One Closing Theme (as all the available versions I've found seem to be copies of copies of copies, and are thus rather poorer sound quality than is optimal...).

Basically, all the right sound is now pushed to the right channel, and all the left sound is pushed to the left channel. This sounds elementary, but the Series Two/Three theme isn't like that! As a result, sound effects like the Dalek gun and the weird TARDIS-y sound now pan between left and right channels as intended. The Derbyshire elements have now been pushed into the centre channel to give them more punch and vibrancy. I've found that the majority of Series One theme mixes tends to bury them under layers of crap (I remember someone describe it as the Derbyshire elements being 'strangled', which is a pretty apt description). Finally, said layers of crap have been excised as best I can to try and make the whole tune sound a bit crisper. The whole thing has also been re-equalised.

I may well clean up the other themes if there's enough interest in it in the near future. Enjoy!
