Self-styled Godman Rampal Awarded Life Imprisonment | ABP News

Self-styled godman Rampal was on Tuesday awarded life imprisonment in connection with the murder of four women and a child. The quantum of sentence in the murder of one more woman will be pronounced tomorrow. Rampal was found guilty by a court here in two murder cases last Thursday.
स्व-शैली वाले देवता रामपाल को मंगलवार को चार महिलाओं और एक बच्चे की हत्या के सिलसिले में जीवन कारावास दिया गया था। एक और महिला की हत्या में सजा की मात्रा कल घोषित की जाएगी। पिछले गुरुवार को दो हत्या के मामलों में रामपाल को यहां एक अदालत ने दोषी पाया था।
Additional District and Sessions Judge, Hisar, D R Chaliya, held Rampal and some of his followers guilty in these cases.

Rampal and 27 of his followers were charged with murder and wrongful confinement after four women and a child were found dead in his Satlok Ashram in Barwala town in Hisar on November 19, 2014.

He has been in prison since November 2014.
