Kirkby Lonsdale, Cumbria【4K】| Town Centre Walk 2021

Join me for a walk around the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale, a historic market town nestled on the edge of the wild Yorkshire Dales in southernmost Cumbria, and to the northeast of Lancaster. Positioned by the River Lune, the town is full of stunning countryside scenery and riveting local history, still on display on account of its wealth of historic buildings and monuments.

As we walk around Kirkby Lonsdale, we pass a number of interesting landmarks, including Ruskin's View, The Gazebo, St. Mary's Church, Swinemarket, Abbott Hall, Mill Brow, Market Street, The Kings Arms Hotel, Fountain House, The Sun Inn, Market House, The Red Dragon Inn, Salt Pie Lane, The Snooty Fox, The Royal Hotel, Market Square, Kirkby Lonsdale Market Cross, the old Savings Bank, Jingling Lane, Jingling End, and Devil's Bridge.
