Emerging Opportunities for MedTech sector engagement with Singapore
Asialink Business is partnering with Investment NSW to deliver an event on the opportunities available to NSW businesses in Singapore’s emerging MedTech sector.
Singapore has an established MedTech environment with relatively few entry barriers which provides the necessary resources to foster industry growth. With mounting costs and increased demand, the $13.3 billion MedTech sector is poised to continue its growth as it meets the needs of an ageing population and an increasingly digitised lifestyle. The Singapore Government is seeking to digitise all aspects of its economy and society through the Smart Nation strategy, including its healthcare system, which offers substantial opportunity to foreign enterprises. Numerous Australian MedTech businesses have already successfully capitalised on Singapore's open market approach and this event will bring together their local experience, and the insights of government officials, to provide feasible export pathways for NSW businesses to consider.
Bringing together a diverse expert panel from Australia and within region, this event will facilitate a detailed discussion on the significant opportunities available in Singapore digital health technology solutions, telemedicine services, medical devices, aged care services and pharmaceuticals. It will include case studies of MedTech professionals who have already experienced success in the market, and who can suggest pathways through which NSW businesses can navigate their own successful export journeys. This will be complimented with an experienced evaluation by the NSW Government’s on the support available to potential exporters and their perspectives on success in the market.
