Odisha Govt Decision | No Power Disconnection for Domestic Consumers During Summer Despite Pending Bills

ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ବଡ଼ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି । ଏବର୍ଷ ଗ୍ରୀଷ୍ମ ଦିନେ ବକେୟା ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍ ବିଲ୍ ଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ଘରୋଇ ଗ୍ରାହକଙ୍କ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍ ସଂଯୋଗ ବିଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରାଯିବ ନାହିଁ। ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ଉପମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ତଥା ଶକ୍ତି ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କନକବର୍ଦ୍ଧନ ସିଂହଦେଓ । ଉପମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତିି, ଏବର୍ଷ ମୌସୁମି ବର୍ଷା ନ ଆସିବା ଯାଏଁ କୌଣସି ଘରୋଇ ଗ୍ରାହକଙ୍କ ବିଜୁଳି ସଂଯୋଗ ବିଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରାଯିବ ନାହିଁ । ବିଲ୍ ପୈଠ ନକରିବା କାରଣରୁ କୌଣସି ବି ଡିସକମ୍ ବା ସରବରାହ କଂପାନୀ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଘରୋଇ ଗ୍ରାହକଙ୍କ ଅଘୋଷିତ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍ କାଟ୍ କରାଯାଇପାରିବ ନାହିଁ

The Odisha government has announced that no domestic electricity connections will be disconnected this summer, even if bills remain unpaid. Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo directed that until the arrival of monsoon rains, DISCOMs and supply companies cannot cut household power for non‑payment.
