During the grand opening of French Funerals & Cremations Care Center in 2017, Stephanie Dyck gave @Gail Rubin a tour of their state-of-the-art facility. This is where the deceased are kept safe until disposition and prepared for viewing.

The deceased may be refrigerated or embalmed, washed and dressed, and have their hair styled and makeup applied.

The tour includes explanations of the equipment used to safely move bodies, the embalming process, tools and chemicals, and safety procedures. You can take a look inside the cooler, at the washer and dryer for laundry, and the area for applying makeup. https://www.frenchfunerals.com/
