HOW TO PAY OFF CREDIT CARD DEBT FAST - no snowball & keep your credit card || THE SUNDAY STYLIST

Whenever I have posted a video about budgeting or saving or money in general I always get loads of emails and messages 'what about debt and paying off credit cards?' I have watched many videos, read books and magazines about this topic and the advice ranges from utterly ridiculous to pretty bland and conservative and often unrealistic - 'don't get into debt in the first place' (thanks Richard - aka male Karen), debtors petition, file bankruptcy, cut up your credit cards, snowball your debts, cancel all credit.
If you have crippling credit card debt chances are you have little to no saving in the bank so until your debts are paid off and you have saved some money you are likely going to need to keep some form of credit to act as your emergency fund. I have made a video of my tried and tested ways to pay off debt quickly without the need to cut up your cards or any sub zero strategies ;) my strategy adopts the method suggested to pay off your mortgage quickly - paying as much of your income into one credit card debt at a time to reduce the principle by a lump sum then using that credit card VERY STRICTLY to pay for your carefully budgeted monthly living expenses. This method requires maturity and discipline so it's not for everyone but if you are SERIOUS about getting out of debt quickly definitely give this video a watch and consider implementing this strategy - even to pay off one debt to see if it works out for you!!!
