In this video we go over trendline channels, and more importantly, how to draw them on your charts.

Trendline channels can give you, as a trader another set of variables to watch for when a market is making moves that are out of it's current pattern. As we know, trendlines help us distinguish the key direction of the market, allowing us to only trade in that direction. Trend line channels allow us to see expected moves on both sides of an upwards or downwards moment in the market.

Trend line channels are not offering levels of resistance and support in the market. They offer only expected moves, and this allows us to be a bit more free in the way they are drawn. Compared to classic support and resistance based off of trading levels, with trend lines, we are able to ignore some of the spikes we see in the market, especially intra day trading.
