50+ Progressive Organizations Call on MA Lawmakers to Stop Online ID Checks from Spreading

On Wednesday many progressive organizations showed up this week with us at Massachusetts State House to deliver a letter from our coalition rejecting state legislation being put forward that incorporates online id check systems that violate our constitutional rights to privacy and free speech while handing a fascist federal administration and Big Tech companies even more power.

Online ID checks are spreading rapidly across the country, but they're losing traction in Massachussetts. Not long after this letter delivery the Boston City Council passed a resolution rejecting Online ID checks, sending a strong message to the Governor and State legislators.
