R. Jason Howard is a glass artist who specializes in borosilicate flameworking. He lives in Skaneateles, New York, blowing glass full time and running his production studio, Cicada Glassworks. Howard first began working with glass in 1996 while at Hamilton College, with glass artist Robert Palusky. Well-known in the flameworking community as a teacher, Howard is sought after for custom tuning and modifying German torches. He also demonstrates and lectures at conferences, and holds workshops and private classes, most recently in Tokyo and Kyoto, Japan. https://www.cmog.org/bio/jason
