Tour of Montparnasse Tower, Paris

A video tour of our visit to Montparnasse Tower (or as it's called in French, "Tour Montparnasse") in Paris, France. Filmed in November 2017. In this walking tour, I take you from nearby Montparnasse Metro station, through the streets, up the elevator / lift and to the viewing deck.

Going up to the Panorimic Observation Deck (or in French, the "Observatoire Panoramique de la Tour Montparnasse") on the 56th floor, and especially then going further up to the outdoor rooftop terrace a couple floors above, was just amazing!
I'm not exaggerating when I say that seeing the beautiful bird's eye sky high view over Paris at sunset and at night was my favourite thing we did in Paris during our stay. I'd highly recommend it!

From the top of Montparnasse you can see gorgeous views of the Eiffel Tower, as it glitters and sparkles on the hour every hour, and has it's beam of light that rotates and lights up the surroundings with its beacon at night. You can also see pretty much all the main attractions and tourist sites in Paris from up there if you look out for them, including the Arc de Triomphe, Centre Pompidou, the Seine, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur over in Montmartre, Le Grand Palais, Le Palais Royal, Jardin du Luxemebourg (Luxemburg gardens) and more. I tried to label most of them in the video :)
