How to read Hip MRI

In this video, I share with you my approach on hip MRI. This system can be applied to standard hip MRI and hip MR-arthrography. If postoperativ cases, there are some special considerations and will make a separate video about it. Also, in patients with hip arthroplasty a different approach is needed. First, look at a larger fiedl of view study, assessing the pubic symphysis, sarcoiliac joints and soft tissue. Then do the following:
- describe bony structures/findings
- measure the femoral torsion
- describe intraarticular pathology/findings
- describe extraarticular pathology/findings

More detailed videos about all separat findings and pathologys will be released in the upcoming months.
