SUMMARY OF THE NEW PROPOSED RULE FOR REMOTE ID OF UAS : My summary of the FAA NPRM for remote ID

On December 16, 2019 the FAA issued a Press Release (link below) regarding the “Proposed Rule on Remote ID for Drones” This new rule would effect every modeler, hobbyist, commercial user, drone pilot, FPV, LOS, EVERYONE who flies an unmanned aircraft in the United States. In this video I go over the main points of the Executive Summary. The ‘unpublished’ rule was also released , and in over 300 pages. I am slowly digesting and will publish a follow up video once the FAA publishes the Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM).
