NC to Launch Public Outreach in Districts & Tehsils, to Showcase Omar Government's Achievements

In a significant organizational move, the National Conference has decided to launch a Union Territory-wide awareness campaign to highlight the successes of the Omar Abdullah-led government. The decision was finalized during a high-level meeting in Srinagar today, attended by Dr. Farooq Abdullah, CM Omar Abdullah, and the party’s top brass.

The campaign will feature district and tehsil-level programmes designed to counter opposition rhetoric and inform the grassroots about key milestones, including the recent ₹8,000 crore road infrastructure boost, rural development under PMGSY-IV, and the "participatory governance" model highlighted in the 2026-27 Budget. Dr. Farooq Abdullah urged the cadre to remain "vigilant" and ensure that the government's developmental story reaches every household across the Valley and the Jammu region
