Falcon Flight Training with DJI Phantom Quadcopter

Brandi is an Aplomado falcon that is getting her flight training using a DJI Phantom quadcopter. The lure is hung 20 feet below the Phantom and attached with a clothespin. The Phantom uses its GPS position function to hold steady in the sky while the trainer gets Brandi ready for launch. Once Brandi hits the lure, her additional weight and momentum pull the lure free of the clothespin. The trainer can then quickly land the quadcopter, recover the bird, and repeat.
