French Polynesia | 15 days | 5 islands | 5 Guesthouse/Pensions

Join me as I review our French Polynesia trip to Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, Rangiroa & Fakarava in 15 days. We stayed in Guesthouse/Pensions, which are family run and culturally immersive at it's best.

Our trip was planned with E-Tahiti Travel who work with Tahiti Tourism. On the Tahiti Tourism website you can find the Guesthouse experience under "Vacations packages"

Flying into Papeete, Tahiti and going to Moorea, Bora Bora, Rangiroa and Fakarava.
I have made video on each island, but they are some of my first videos so they have great pictures but not much info, I will attached the list.

This is a great way to save money and spend more time in French Polynesia, the Guesthouse Experience, but catch up on your French as we were the only "English" speakers in most of the Guesthouses.

*Our first excursion in Moorea was with Moorea Miti and then Moorea Moana for the Whale excursion, I know I said the opposite in the video.

French Polynesia is a water paradise and the local dinners often are what was caught in the lagoon during the day. This is also a divers and snorkelers paradise and dive shops on every island.

Each Guesthouse had their own touch, the owners are always helpful and can help you find anything you need, and some will even have activities available on site, and they can help book your excursions, rent a car or bicycles. Not all are on a beach but will have a beach nearby.

In Moorea if you are looking for a whale watching tour be sure to book that ahead of time as they fill up fast.
