CDM1550ls+ 216-222 MHz with GPS

This is a Motorola CDM1550ls+ 216-222 MHz Passport trunking mobile radio which came from the New Jersey Turnpike. There is a Trident Micro Systems GPS unit attached in the cover and it appears to be used for tracking.

I have modified the internal filters to be wideband for the 222-225 MHz ham band and need to do the software modification next.

Good news is this is not a custom radio, only an additional case with GPS unit which plugs into the accessory connector.
