Hi guys! Today I am sharing my experience taking my general exam! The general exam is a two week written exam defending my dissertation proposal followed by a meeting with the committee to discuss the written responses. After passing the exam, you are officially a PhD candidate-all but dissertation. Lot of coffee and imposter syndrome going on these days!
