In this week's edition of Pink Floyd Friday, I cover and break down "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun". This was Roger Waters' first Pink Floyd composition after the tragic departure of Syd Barrett. This song features a drone like riff in E minor phrygian and is very easy to play. This riff is a repeating motif which also occurs a 4th up in A minor phrygian.
