Kayaking with Alligators - Myakka River - Florida

You never know what's around the next turn. Gators all over the place on this quick trip down the Myakka River. More gators than I know what to do with. I'm not gonna lie, this trip will get the heart rate up. About 10 years ago I kayaked the Myakka River from Myakka City to Charlotte Harbor for the first time. That's when I first encountered this tremendous population of gators. I've been back a few times since and it never ceases to amaze me.
