Tribute to Joey Ramone - In A Little While

This is my tribute to the beloved King of Punk Rock: Joey Ramone (Jeffry Ross Hyman). I love him alot along with Dee Dee and the Ramones. I made this as a delayed tribute that I felt needed to be done. I own nothing, so ALL RIGHTS TO OWNERS.

For those who don't know, Joey Ramone died on 15 April 2001 just before his 50th birthday. He died in the hospital from lymphoma cancer while listening to the song in the video ('In A Little While' by U2). He lost a seven year battle against that cancer. When the song in the video ended, his eyes shut and so did his life. Days prior to death he was refusing being fed through a tube and planning his 50th Birthday Bash. Obviously, he never made it to the party...

At his bedside was his mother, Charolette Lesher, and his brother Mickey Leigh. Someone else that visited Joey often had promised him 3 things before he died; 1) the Ramones would be inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame (happened in March of 2002). 2) He would have a 50th Birthday Bash (his brother and mother threw the party in memory of Joey. There's been a bash every year since). 3) That is solo album, Don't Worry About Me, would go GOLD.

I have no clue if the album went gold, but I'd love to be able to know that ALL of Joey's final wishes were fullfilled. Please let me know if you do. Thanks for watching the video. It's said when it made me cry. Comment, thumbs up, or do whatever.
