Each cage either sums to 8 or contains an 8. Digits may not repeat within a cage.

Around 90 minutes or so my brain apparently melts, and I miss a bunch of obvious stuff (like the fact that I could resolve deadly patterns with use of a 3-length cage). Sorry about that - I shall endeavor to do better next time!
