Umar Nurmagomedov || Khabib with Striking? || A Brendan Dorman Film Study ᴴᴰ

Umar Nurmagomedov, undefeated cousin of Khabib, signs with the UFC (links below) was the word over the weekend, mostly by smarks who had messaged me and asked me to break his skill set down. BD's got your back youngin', and as the subs increase as does all else....

The premise, certainly not for the first time, is whether or not Umar (Omar, Jr. etc.) Nurmagomedov, Khabib's younger cousin and closest thing to a brother within the ranks, the next generation of Dagestani pugilist? A Khabib 2.0 perhaps? While a lofty question, somehow reserved for people like Zabit and Islam in the past, I believe we need to see more striking from Khabib and more ground dominance from Umar before we get there.

What will help answer many of these questions, is that the UFC has just signed Umar to a contract and his 24th birthday was yesterday at 12-0 against very good competition for a young man with wide lens shoes to fill.

I've covered this young phenom before, but due to his activity I haven't covered his last two contests which will serve as salutations for the "promotion".
