#54 Eco Resin Candle Holders & Pots Engraved with XTool F1 in Butterflies - Lupus Awareness Collab

Hi! I'm very excited to be part of an international collaboration of crafting YouTubers helping to raise awareness about Lupus. We were challenged make something using the colour purple and butterflies.

For my project I chose to use AR400 Eco Casting Compound, which I tinted purple using "Violet" from the ARC Pigment range from Just Resin. Using some moulds I purchased from TEMU, I cast 5 pieces in total, 3 tealight candle holders in a trio set and 2 dear little pots.

After curing I protected them with Sealer Wax from Boowan Nicole, then engraved them using my XTool F1 Laser Engraver and Cutter. As they are cylindrical objects I use the XTool RA2 attachment, a rotary tool which makes it very easy to work with wrap-around designs. I used a design that I made in Canva as a seamless, repeating pattern.
