President Rodrigo Roa Duterte holds his regular meeting with several Cabinet members to discuss the rollout of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines in the Philippines and other efforts being undertaken by the government in mitigating the impacts of the virus.

The President assures the public that the national vaccination program is safe, sure and secure. He emphasizes that the government prioritizes the health and safety of every Filipino and is doing its utmost best in ensuring that every process – from evaluation, procurement until the rollout of vaccines -- is being done under the guidance of medical and scientific experts.

As the country continues to revitalize the economy, President Duterte calls for the continued cooperation and support of his ‘kababayans’ while awaiting the vaccine rollout and reminds them to keep safe and healthy amid the public health crisis.
