Kennedy Space Center & Bioluminescence Kayaking

Well hello there and welcome, to Kennedy Space Centre!

Join us as we take a trip with the one and only Zoe from @thebritishlife as we spend the day at the Space Coast.

Kennedy Space Centre is an excellent day out, and something different to do if you want to escape the parks for a day. We took a look around the park, and took a tour bus (free) to the Saturn 5 centre! On the trip you pass by many pads, and see a lot of the behind the scenes action, and make sure you’re looking in those boggy creeks and lakes, as they are full of alligators!

As the site is built on a nature reserve, you will likely see armadillo, turtles, gators and golden eagles! Quite impressive.

We then took a tour of Atlantis, one of the many space shuttles used.

After we were done at the park, we spent a little while around the area as both Georgie and Zoe were heading out on a bioluminescent kayak tour!

If you get the chance to do this, you must jump on it! The tour we took lasted a good 2-3 hours, and in that time we headed out in the dark, paddled around then went up the river to find some bioluminescent algae! The camera couldn’t pick them up unfortunately as it was so dark, and the camera we were using didn’t have much in the sense of exposure.

We also saw a dolphin! Which FYI is terrifying at night when you can’t see a thing!
