Two young strangers are thrown together at a country cottage at a moment both have put their lives on pause. A fledgling bond develops over their few days. Curiosity leads to Infatuation. Joy replaces anguish. Acting on impulse triggered by the fear of losing rediscovered life, Zoe blatantly seduces Taylor. Long lost passions awaken. Realizing involvement would bring heartbreak; Zoe turns on Taylor. Their keen values of time return to kill their joy, Unaware that he needs time to heal after losing his parents in an accident, Zoe demeans his choices and accuses him of wasting his life. Unaware that she has a deadly illness, he is confused and hurt. Zoe reveals that she is out of time and disappears overnight, forcing a devastated Taylor to leave - to find a new beginning, back to life.
