The Curious New World

Welcome, my friend, to the New World fair,
Where the rules are flipped, and the norms are rare.
A land of wonder, odd and grand,
With Hemom and Shedad to lend a hand.

Now Hemom’s a chap with a curious plight—
His belly’s round, quite the sight!
He waddles and grumbles, craving pie,
And sobs at commercials (don’t ask him why).

Shedad, on the other hand, is tough as nails,
With a beard so thick, it could anchor sails.
She combs it daily, with oils to shine,
And braids it neatly when she dines.

They make a pair, this curious two,
Breaking the mold of what we knew.
Hemom knits booties, Shedad chops logs,
Together they’re legends in the village blogs.

One day a stranger came to town,
With a furrowed brow and a puzzled frown.
"Who runs this place?" the stranger said,
And up stepped Hemom, with Shedad ahead.

“I lead with my heart,” Hemom declared,
“While Shedad defends, for her chin is prepared!”
The stranger blinked, then began to cheer,
“This New World’s rules are delightfully queer!”

Now Hemom teaches Lamaze with pride,
While Shedad gives rides on her beard’s great side.
In the New World, they’ve shown it’s true
What’s odd to us is normal too.

So here’s to Hemom and Shedad’s reign,
Proof that life’s quirks are never in vain.
In this brave New World, the lesson’s clear:
Be weird, be proud, and grow that beard!
